Hands down the best place in my opinion If you are looking for baby chicks or older coop ready pullets this is your best bet!

If I could give The Pasture Farms 10 stars, I would. We adopted 5 Easter Eggers and have enjoyed every second with them. I especially appreciated Kit’s incredible communication and helpfulness. He’s been a quick text away to answer any question, and always goes above and beyond with helpful answers. Our chickens are healthy and friendly, and have been wonderful with our kids. It’s clear they’re socialized very well and make amazing family friendly backyard chickens!

Love the Gold Deathlayers that I hatched from The Pasture Farms last spring. They definitely stand out, and have quickly become one of my favorite breeds.

I have 6 hens and a gorgeous roo from pasture farms. This was my first time having chickens and Kit and company really helped me along the way. Almost a year later, my girls and guy are healthy, big and beautiful!! Kit and his crew were always on hand to answer any questions i had. I’m ordering more this coming spring from them. I purchased three chickens from Pasture Farms and I could not be happier with my girls! I got an olive egger, pearl legbar and an Easter egger. I just texted to farm to see if they had any young layers and they texted back a full inventory. Helped me pick what I wanted, met up a few days later. My hens are beautiful, clean and healthy, it’s obvious the Pasture farms enjoys and is taking good care of their birds.

I have got chickens from them twice and I am going to get another 4 more chickens. I have interacted with Kit and other members. Kit is prompt in response and his staff was kind to talk to. Kit helped me with tips and tricks and information regarding chickens and coop and other accessories related to it. I highly recommend Paster Farm to have a great experience.

The personnel are very friendly, cooperative, patient, and friendly. We drove from New Orleans to pick up 13 chickens as they do not ship. We got off track and stuck in traffic. We were 2 hours past our meet up time. We stayed in touch with Stephen and he was very patient and understanding. He still agreed to meet up with us for the pick up. My chicks are doing well and have learned their new environment. It was worth the drive. Thanks Stephen!

The best breeds and they are so helpful

The Pasture Farms provided my family with 6 gorgeous, healthy, and unique chicken breeds. They were very easy to work with, and were willing to change my order when I no longer could take on day old chicks, and instead needed pullets. It's been about 3 weeks since we picked them up and everyone is strong and growing fast! Can't wait to see how beautiful they look when all their adult plumage comes in!

It has been such a pleasure doing business with The Pasture Farms and I highly recommend them. They have been thoroughly professional and helpful to me as a brand new backyard chicken hobbyist / egg farmer. I purchased 6 pullets last year and 2 more this year. I considered ordering my pullets from some of the larger, mail-order breeders but I decided to go with a smaller local breeder because I wanted someone that I could more easily build a relationship with, someone that I could turn to for advice since I am so new to this. The fact that The Pasture Farms specialized in rare chickens with unique plumage / colored eggs was just a bonus for me, I really just wanted healthy chickens from a friendly local breeder who I felt like I could trust. I'm so glad that I made that decision because the chickens that I'm raising now are exceptional, healthy, beautiful and so unique. Everyone gets a kick out of the colored eggs too so, I'm thrilled that I did purchase these special birds from The Pasture Farms. I plan to add 2 or 3 pullets every year from them to keep my backyard flock going and growing!

My experience with The Pasture Farms was amazing. Every text message was answered quickly. I was given excellent advice on the next set of birds I’m going to get. Very courteous and professional. Their chickens are absolutely gorgeous!!! I’ve been working with chickens for 8 years now, and I can honestly say these are the best I have ever seen!!! It was definitely worth the drive from Alabama to Georgia to get them. I will definitely be going back once we are ready for our next flock of birds!!!

We drove from Central Florida in December to get our Easter Egger and our Double Silver Laced Barnvevelder, Shania & Martina. We are so happy with these beautiful girls! The Pasture Farms helped us prepare for them and answer any questions we had after picking them up since we needed to integrate them with our 2 Rhode Island Reds and chihuahua. Considering the trip we had to make to get the girls, they accommodated our schedule. I’ve told everyone who’s looking for DSLB to reach out to The Pasture Farms. When we get ready to expand our flock, we will make the trip back up to Marietta. They even checked in on us several weeks after getting the girls. I was so hesitant to order chickens online but I absolutely trust The Pasture Farm for beautiful, healthy, egg-laying chickens!

The best chickens around and it isn't even close!

Kit and Pasture Farms are amazing and very responsive. They were able to be provide fertilized eggs when needed for educational purposes. The price was so reasonable and Kit even gave me a few extra just in case. He gave me advice and tips so that we could hatch them in the incubator for the students to see. We video-streamed the whole learning experience. The success rate was 10/14 eggs. They were beautiful! Customer service and being local contributed to our positive experience. We will definitely be ordering from Pasture Farms again!

My rooster Thor and his lady Ingrid. They are Swedish flower chickens. Very friendly and I get a nice brown egg from Ingrid every day. I just love them both! And my second purchase , the silver death layers. They are more flighty then the Swedes. But healthy and growing quickly. Thank you Pasture farm for my lovely birds.

Lovely family farm. They are passionate about their work and provide excellent customer service. I was a first time backyard chicken owner and they were so kind and helpful. The birds I chose were all different, beautiful, and very healthy - I had no problems with them. I added an extra female chick to my order and it ended up being a roo. They were quick to offer to replace him with a comparably aged female. They were accommodating of my schedule for pickup as well. The legbars were the sweetest hens and would come up to me for treats and let me pick them up. One in particular would just hop into my arms from the beginning. Sweet birds from a very sweet family! Love to support a local farm instead of a big company.

We bought ten chicks a year and half ago and they have done amazingly well. They are extremely healthy and lay beautiful eggs. Communicating with Kit was a breeze and he is quick to respond.
