Rent or buy a starter set with a heater, feeder, waterer and enough food and shavings for weekly changes until they are ready for the coop. Chicks are ready for the coop in 6 weeks.
Note: this brooder is not capable of warming chicks in unheated spaces such an uninsulated barn. Approximate size is 37L x 19W x 20H inches. Stuffed animals not included
